- Restart your computer and check if you are still getting the err_connection_reset error in chrome.
Method 3: Disable your Anti-virus Program or Firewall
Sometimes, the Windows firewall or antivirus program can be the man blocking internet connection and causing the err_connection_reset error. You can temporarily disable your antivirus program or windows firewall to check whether it is the cause. Also, check your firewall settings to make sure you aren’t blocking the browser or the website that you are using.
