OnePlus has finally confirmed the launch date of the upcoming OnePlus Nord. The company has something special planned for the launch to be available for all the users.
Oneplus has finally revealed the second part of the “New Beginnings”, a four-part series about the upcoming device which highlights the new step they’ve taken towards launching this device.
The video initially reveals that the launch will take place on 21 July. Then it shows how OnePlus has taken major steps and done the proper homework before launching such a device in the Indian market. It’s clearly visible that the company is focusing on the Indian market for this device. Carl Pei says that the Indian Community of OnePlus has given an overwhelming response.
To test the type of product they need in the Indian market, Carl Pei along with the OnePlus team, visited the popular places like Ghaziabad and other parts of Delhi unannounced to see what type of devices are selling and what the consumer exactly want in their device. The local approach towards the consumers gave them an edge to discover the needs of the customer.

Carl says entering this price segment and maintaining the tag of premium smartphones will be difficult because of the consumer base in India. That too if their product doesn’t succeed in the market. OnePlus Nord will be their first device for a lesser price range than the ongoing market right now. The consumers in India want specifications and durability for a budget price and that’s the end goal for the company for this device.
This local approach was unique from the company to assess its competitors like Xiaomi, Samsung, Lenovo, etc to understand the market needs. The final device was shown to some of the locals according to the video(blurred) which proves the company is going above and beyond in making sure the device is a success in the Indian Market.

The users wondering how the launch will take place, it will happen through an AR launch and the company has designed an App for the Android and iOS users. The launch will happen on 21 July through the App of OnePlus Nord. The pricing of OnePlus Nord was teased in the first video which is expected to be less than $500. The retail box was teased yesterday on the Instagram handle of OnePlus Nord.
