GTA 5 will be free to download from the Epic Games Store till May 21, once you claim it , it’s yours to keep forever. It should be available from 8:30PM IST on May 14.

This version is reportedly the full game too, and not just the campaign or GTA Online. In fact, Game Pressure claims that it is a “Premium Edition” with “additional content,” so you might be getting more for free than people who have bought the game on other platforms. GTA Online is still actively supported by Rockstar Games too, so it’s a free game that you might get a lot of use out of in the long run until GTA’s next installment is finally released (which is potentially years from now, but in development)

There were Rumors yesterday about the same,but was later confirmed today by Epic Games themselves when they quickly tweeted and deleted the Promotional Tweet for the game.

This is an interesting move by both companies as it pulls in more users into Epic Games Store , at the same time GTA Online will get new players from the Fortnite realm.
Grand Theft Auto V was launched back in 2013 and is still popular to this day. thanks to GTA Online and Roleplay Community.

GTA 5 will be exclusively available on the Epic Games store till 21st of May 2020. In order to download the game, you need to ensure that you already have an Epic Games account. If you want to sign up, you can do it here.
After signing up, you would need to download the Epic Games launcher on your system. The Epic Games launcher can be downloaded here.
Once have downloaded and logged into the Epic games store,
Go to store page and find GTA 5 or just type ‘GTA 5’ in the search bar on the upper right corner of the Epic games launcher and add it to your library ( you can also use code YES at checkout)
Voila , Install the game from your library and you own GTA5 forever in your Epic Games Account
