OnePlus has finally launched the affordable smartphone known as OnePlus Nord which was teased from the past couple of weeks. The device looks good on paper but can it really perform?
Design
The design of the OnePlus Nord is a little different on the back. OnePlus has changed the camera position for this device. Usually, the camera placement would be in the center but this time the company placed it on the left-hand side. This placement is quite similar to other present smartphones in the market.
The device has a 90Hz display with a screen size of 6.44-inch supporting Full HD+. The high refresh rate device is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front as well as the back. The display is fast having a good response time and smooth scrolling which will benefit you in your gaming experience.
Along with all this, the device will be protected by an in-display fingerprint scanner and face-unlock present in the dual front camera setting.

Processor and Battery
The OnePlus Nord is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G 5G processor along with 12GB of RAM. There are other variations to choose from which will be discussed below. The device packs 4115 mAh battery which is supported by Warp Charge 30T. This technology by OnePlus can charge your device from 0 to 70 in just 30 minutes.
The device runs on Android 10 along with OnePlus’s own Oxygen OS 10.5 which will bring other features like the Dark Mode, Gesture Navigations, and Zen mode in the device. Other pre-installed apps like Duo, Dialer, and Messager from Google will be present in the device.
Camera
Looks like this is the most highlighted feature in the OnePlus Nord which supports a quad-camera setup featuring the 48MP primary sensor which was launched in the OnePlus 8. The other cameras are 8MP, 5MP, and 2MP supporting Wide Angle, Depth Sensor, and Macro Lens respectively.
At front we have a dual-camera setup with 32MP main camera and 8MP Ultra Wide Angle Camera. The 8MP camera is enough to take a group selfie instead of carrying a selfie stick wherever you go. The primary sensor of the front camera comes with advanced image processing to make sure your images are not distorted. One of the important features included in the 4K support. The front camera in OnePlus Nord can record 4K videos at 60 FPS.
