Remember those days when you run out of space on your smartphone and purchase an 8GB card to solve that problem. Later, the smartphone companies understood the pain and increased the storage of smartphones. This led to smartphones coming with decent internal storage, it started from 32GB in all smartphones, and today, Samsung has few smartphones with 512 GB internal storage. Fast forward to 2021, we have microSD cards with 1TB internal storage! Something that small to hold 1TB of your precious data.

This review will focus on the 256 GB version of the microSD card. Out of the box, the microSD card comes with an SD card adapter. This definitely comes in handy when you want to use it in your camera, laptop, etc. Even though it’s pretty cheap to get one, including it inside the box makes it handy.

This card is a class 10, UHS-1, U3, V30, A2 memory card and this certifies that it can be used for anything right from a DSLR, drone, gaming console, and other devices. Kingston claims the Canvas Go Plus microSD card a peak read speed of 170MB/s and a peak write speed of 90MB/s.

While comparing the different products in the market around this product, it’s nothing new. It’s just the update of the previous version with a better performance. The higher storage options allow the users to enjoy the freedom to install a ton of apps or download as much as media they need. If you are looking for a proper microSD card for your camera, drone, or your DSLR, the Kingston Canvas Go Plus MicroSD should be the best option to go for. Costing roughly around the sub 4K pricing (Rs.3854) as on date, it’s a good bang for buck.
