What is GTA V?
GTA V(Grand Theft Auto V) is a 2013 action-adventure game with an immense storyline developed by Rockstar games. It has a variety of side quests offering extra hours of enjoyable gameplay. It has a very engaging online experience with a massive player count, peaking at 267.36 thousand concurrent players as of February 2020.
GTA V has both a singleplayer and a multiplayer game mode, while the latter was launched 2 weeks later in 2013. GTA V Online is easily one of the best online games to date due to the fact that it’s always one of the top 10 most played games on Steam.
GTA V Online gets updates very often adding tons of new game modes and new heists to play with your online friends. It also has the feature to add mods that brings in a large option to customize your game modes including Role Play.
Is GTA V going free?
GTA V going free is a huge surprise considering the fact that it still has around 1,30,000 active players as of May 13, 2020 making the community ‘highly-active’. The game has sold about 120 million copies worldwide.
Epic Games Store is currently giving off games to be claimed for free for a limited time duration. Games are released every week while the most recent one being ‘Death Coming’. The next game is going to be available for free at 8.30 PM IST.
The next free game is widely speculated to be GTA V. GamePressure.com has claimed to have learned from “an anonymous, but a very well-informed source” that the game will be available for download from May 14 through May 21.

GTA V was added to the Xbox game-pass this year early on which didn’t allow the game to be ‘claimed’ technically and was removed in a while which was then replaced by Red Dead Redemption 2.
