Epic Games has finally released the Android version to the public Android smartphone after a good 18 months since it was officially launched for the Samsung smartphones. So far, this game was downloadable to Android via third-party software.

Epic Games had a good struggle by making not available in the official Google PlayStore as it faced numerous problems and issues as it warned the users with security issues. And PlayStore also saw these apps as malware, meaning any app downloaded away from PlayStore.

Epic Stated that “After 18 months of operating Fortnite on Android Outside of the Google Play store, we’ve come to a basic realization”. They also mentioned, “Google puts software downloadable outside of the Google Plat at a disadvantage, through technical and business measures such as scary, repetitive security pop-ups for downloaded and updated software, restrictive manufacturer and carrier agreements and dealings, Google public relations characterizing third-party software sources as malware, and new efforts such as Google Play Protect to outright bock software obtained the Google Play Store”.

Another problem that this game or any other game faces are that Google Play store to get 30 percent cut in-game purchases. This means the developers of the game should also play a 30 percent cut on all the app purchases made by users.

Now getting back to the game itself, this game is 107MB on Play Store and requires an additional 7.4GB download from the application itself. You get the same login option as Epic games when you login.

Currently this game is locked at 30 FPS on my Realme X smartphone and you get most of the options you get on the PC version of the Fortnite game.
