OnePlus has scheduled to launch its new TV series on July 2 and they have also revealed the price tag which can be expected for the device. The new upcoming TV will be ready to take on the current market holders and surpass them in terms of pricing and features.

OnePlus entered the Smart TV segment in 2019 after launching the Q1 series starting from 69,900. The smart TV was a huge success and looks like the company is now ready to fight in the mid and low range smart TV section too. There not much information about the upcoming TV but there have been a few leaks including the report from economic times where they told ET about how they’re planning to launch a budget-friendly smart TV for the users.

In an official statement on Twitter, the company has teased the price of the new series which can be expected below 20,000 INR. With this price tag, the upcoming smart TV from OnePlus is ready to compete with the Mi TV and RealMe TV. the current most popular smart TV in the market is Mi TV for this price segment. After the launch of OnePlus and the new series, we can expect a good competition that can be better than Mi TV.

The price of the New OnePlus TV Series will be starting from ₹1X,999.

In the tweet, the company says ‘starting from’ which means there will be more than one variant to this product in the launch. The other one according to the spokesperson on the ET report will be between 20,000 to 40,000 INR. The final launch is scheduled for July 2. In the tweet, the company also mentions “Heavy on specs, Easy on Price”. This means the device will pack a ton and users can expect a product worth their expense.

While some users are happy about this, people are complaining OnePlus if they’re going to actually deliver the products or just keep launching new ones. This is in context to the OnePlus 8 Series which was launched a long time back but is not yet available for the Indian users.

Delivery of these new products might be at a halt due to the increase in the spread of COVID-19 but again the company shouldn’t launch if the delivery is not possible looking at the current situations. While the E-Commerce deliveries are properly functioning now, the spread is still increasing in thousands when the lockdown ban was lifted for the public.

More details will be shared with you once the product finally launches. There are reports of another one of the upcoming devices i.e. OnePlus Z which can be expected to launch soon.
