We’re months back from witnessing the launch of new Apple Watch 6 Series but it looks like the specifications won’t stop surfacing online. After having a couple of leaks about the upcoming Apple iPhone 12, it looks like we have some details about the Apple Watch Series 6 too.

The leaks were uploaded by famous YouTuber Nikias Molina on his twitter channel. The leaks were confirmed later on by another famous leaker Jon Prosser. The new leaks suggest major changes to monitor human health but the question here, is it possible?

To start with the leaks suggest Sleep Tracking and longer battery life. Considering Apple, the last generation Series 5 watch, it was a disaster in the power section. Apple Watch 5 just gave around 18 hours of battery on a single charge. The primary focus of Apple should be improving the battery life if they’re going to introduce the Sleep Tracking feature.

Sleep Tracking feature can give you precise information about how you’re managing your sleep every day and you can track everything on the watch. The feature Apple is trying to integrate with the Mental Health Abnormalities Detection. The details are mentioned later in the post.

Coming to Pulse Oximeter, known as Blood Oximetry Sensor which will monitor the Blood Oxygen levels in the body of the wearer. This will make the Apple Watch 6 an advanced health tool similar to the fitness trackers out there and probably better. Pulse oximetry is widely used in tracking the abnormalities in breathing while sleeping.

If we combine all these, we might see some notifications in our day to day life suggesting if any panic or anxiety attacks might happen. This will be based on all the information Apple Watch 6 collects from the multiple sensors included in it. There are some reports about the neural detection sensor in the Watch. There’s no news and no clues as to how it’s going to work through a Wristwatch.

Surprisingly the new leaks were already confirmed by another YouTuber EveryThingApplePro couple of weeks ago where he explained in detail about all the technicalities of the Apple Watch 6 Series. He mentioned how apple is working on monitoring the anxiety levels in people and helping them in predicting if that’s going to have an impact on their health soon.

This anticipated feature might help saving lives but again how it’s going to happen is not clear yet. We only know that these are leaks and Apple hasn’t confirmed any of them yet.

Reports confirm that Apple is working on a new UI for Apple Watch 6. Also, there will be no subtle changes to the new watch series and Apple is only working to improve the software and battery of the device.

Another part of the leak suggested an S6 chip in the new watch series. Reports say the new chip is freshly designed for the Apple Watch 6 Series instead of refurbishing as it happened in the Series 5. The chip might just help people with the improved battery life suggested in the leaks.

The Apple Watch 6 Series will launch in Summer and Molina says more information will be provided on the leaks later on. The new Apple Watch 6 Series and iPhone 12 is scheduled to launch in WWDC 2020 later in June.

Apple’s Senior Vice Marketing Head said in a blog “We are delivering WWDC 2020 this June in an innovative way to millions of developers around the world, bringing the entire developer community together with a new experience”. This happened regarding the health concerns of everyone amid the spread of COVID-19.
