iPhone 12 leaks:
The iPhone SE 2020 just launched a couple of days back and we are here again looking at some good news. This time, it is about the upcoming iPhone. Namely the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 12 pro.
Undoubtedly, there are one of the most anticipated smartphone lineups of this year. The announcement usually takes place in September followed by the launch in the following months. EveythingApplePro revealed tons of information in his recent video. So let’s see what we got.
iPhone 12 display:
According to the information, iPhone 12 pro the successor to the iPhone 11 Pro will rock a 6.7-inch panel compared to the 6.5-inch panel in the iPhone 11 pro. Not just that, the leaked CAD designs of the iPhone 12 suggests that the phone is slightly taller and wider than its predecessors.
As we all know, Apple implements the size change with minor upgrades every time they launch a smartphone. This time the leaks give on two critical information, one is that the iPhone 12 Pro Max includes a new design with a complete flat stainless steel frame replacing the rounded frame which is present in current-gen iPhones.

iPhone 12 Bezels:
Source :EverythingAppleProAnd the second critical information is with regards to the bezels. The bezels of the iPhone 12 Pro Max is going to be updated after three long years. This will help the upcoming Apple iPhones to keep themself updated with the tons of no bezel smartphones, different notches which are present in the smartphone market right now.
The leak also reveals the possible dimensions which the iPhone 12 Pro max is going to carry. The current iPhones have a bezel size of 2.52mm whereas the upcoming iPhone 12 & iPhone 12 pro max will have a bezel of 1.55mm wide. This clearly shows almost 50% of the bezels are cut off and in turn, this also means more screen real estate.
iPhone 12 Camera:
The final render of the iPhone 12 mockup clearly shows the refreshed & a new rear panel design that accommodates the extra camera features that might possibly be added in the camera system. The dimensions of the camera module have increased and measures at 31.75mm wide & the previous-gen iPhones measuring at 26.87mm. This might be a possible addition of the LiDAR scanner (As seen in the new iPad) to the upcoming iPhone 12 series.
iPhone 12 connectivity & design:
Honestly, everyone is expecting to see a USB type C connector in the iPhone series but unfortunately, the iPhone 12 Pro max doesn’t come with one (According to the CAD designs). The design also suggests that the mute button is still unchanged and the power button position has been slightly lowered to make it easier to reach with the increase in the display size.

The antenna band design change from 1mm in current-gen iPhones vs 1.83mm in the upcoming iPhone clearly suggests the support & introduction of 5G network support in the upcoming iPhone models. The other change in design also includes the relocation of the SIM tray to the opposite side which is the first time seen in the iPhone history. This also acts as a clear proof for the 5G support as the internal design has been redesigned. Not just the 5G network support but also a possibility for accommodating a higher capacity battery which will equalize along with the 5G support.
iPhone 12 release date & announcement:
The iPhone 12 & iPhone 12 pro max is expected to go official in the month of September in 2020. The shipment of the upcoming iPhone clearly depends upon the situation of COVID-19. If things get settled, the shipping could begin from October beginning.
