As Episode 6 Act 3 of Valorant draws to a close, Riot Games is teasing its upcoming plans for Episode 7. In a recent video on the game’s official Twitter account, the developer confirmed that a new Sentinel agent is on the way, as well as a new Team Deathmatch mode that will boast its own dedicated maps.

While few specific details have been revealed about the mode, Riot confirmed that all agents and weapons will be available to players. Unlike the current free-for-all Deathmatch mode, team Deathmatch will also allow players to use their character abilities.

Additionally, the developer hinted at a new progression system for Episode 7 that will allow players to collect rewards from previous battle passes. A new way to unlock agents and their contract-locked items will also be introduced.

As for the new Sentinel agent, no details have been shared beyond the fact that they will join the game in Episode 7. The third agent set to arrive this year will reportedly be a Duelist, following the introduction of Neon in January 2022.

Valorant Episode 7 Act 1 is set to launch on June 27, with more information on the new Sentinel likely to be shared in the coming weeks. A new cosmetic bundle will also be available at the start of the new episode. No information on balance changes has been announced yet, but more details should be available once the Episode 7 content hits PBE servers.
